Kyler Murray Expected to Return This Season
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (foot) has been in the building working hard, and the expectation is that he should return at some point this season, according to general manager Monti Ossenfort. When asked if that meant a return to the starting lineup, Ossenfort was less committal, saying, "A lot can happen" during the four weeks Murray is slated to miss after being placed on IR on Wednesday. The Cardinals are 1-2 in the three games started by Jacoby Brissett, but the offense has taken a notable step forward, with both Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride benefiting from Brissett's 287 passing yards per game, along with his six touchdowns to only one interception. As he supports the team's primary pass-catchers, Brissett himself has also entered the streaming conversation in deeper leagues and superflex formats.
