Kyle Wright To Make Spring Debut Next Week
2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Kyle Wright (shoulder) threw two innings on the back fields at camp on Wednesday and will make the first of two Grapefruit League starts next week and then make his final tune-up against minor-leaguers after the Braves leave camp. He's currently lined up to make his 2023 debut against the St. Louis Cardinals on the road between April 3-5. Wright required a cortisone injection back in January for a shoulder injury and has been brought along slowly in spring training, but he appears to be on track to go early in the year, barring a setback within the next couple of weeks. The 27-year-old right-hander broke out last year for Atlanta and fantasy managers, and even if he does see some regression in 2023, he should be a solid fantasy starter.
