6 months agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson was dominant in an 8-1 win over the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. Gibson spun seven innings of one-run ball, striking out nine and allowing just five hits. His only mistake was a solo homer off of the bat of Jose Abreu. Gibson earned the win, improving his record to 5-2 with a 4.08 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and 60 strikeouts in 57 1/3 innings of work. While Gibson is just inconsistent enough to preclude him from every-week starter status, he is a high-end streamer in any and all good matchups. He will take the mound against the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
