5 months agoAtlanta Hawks guard Kevin Huerter (back) logged 37 minutes against the Nets on Wednesday night, finishing with 14 points on 6-for-15 shooting from the field. After not suiting up against the Raptors on Tuesday, the rookie was able to shed his injury designation throughout the day. Though he went 0-for-4 from deep, the 20-year-old was able to offset his shooting woes by adding in 10 boards and three assists. After a slow start to the season, the 20-year-old has supplanted himself into the Hawks lineup and is currently averaging a season-high 37 minutes in January. His time allowance may take a slight dip upon the return of Kent Bazemore (ankle), but he should remain a staple in the rotation for the foreseeable future.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
