Ketel Marte Has a Good Chance to Return Tuesday
Ketel Marte (groin) was scratched on Monday night for the team's series opener in San Diego due to groin tightness, but thankfully, the injury doesn't appear to be serious enough to keep him out for a long time. In fact, after the game, manager Torey Lovullo said there is a "pretty good chance" the veteran second baseman will return on Tuesday. Marte has been excellent all season for the Dbacks, hitting .293 with 19 homers and a .416 wOBA, and he was even hotter lately, hitting .328 with seven of those home runs and a .463 wOBA over his last 17 games. Fantasy managers and Arizona fans can breathe a sigh of relief that it isn't a more serious issue. Marte is officially day-to-day at this point, so be sure to keep an eye on Tuesday night's lineup when the Snakes take on Nick Pivetta and the Padres.
