Ketel Marte Back in Arizona's Lineup
Ketel Marte (illness) is back at the keystone and is hitting in the two-hole for Friday's series opener against the visiting Washington Nationals and right-hander Jake Irvin at Chase Field. An illness kept Marte out of action for the last two games, but he's feeling better now and is ready to go for the weekend series in the desert. Fantasy managers will want to get the 31-year-old switch-hitter back in their starting lineups against Irvin, who Marte has hit .444 against with a home run and three RBI in nine career at-bats. The two-time All-Star and Silver Slugger winner is currently hitting a strong .283 (30-for-106) with eight home runs and 13 RBI, but he also missed time in April with a hamstring injury. Fantasy managers have to be happy that Marte holds an xBA of .317 with an xwOBA of .407, meaning his batted-ball metrics show he's been even better than his surface stats.
