Kenyan Drake Expects Big Things From Cardinals
4 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake expects the Cardinals to make some noise in 2020 after going 5-10-1 in 2019 in head coach Kliff Kingsbury's first season at the helm. "I feel like the hype is warranted, to be honest," Drake said during an appearance on Good Morning Football on Thursday. "I feel like we're going to go out there and really take the league by storm, especially our division." The addition of All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins will certainly help, but the Cardinals are in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL. Drake reached 15-plus mph on 26.8 percent of his rushes with the Cardinals, as opposed to hitting that speed on just 14.9 percent of his carries in Miami in 2019. His 33 rushes of 15-plus mph were the second-most in the NFL from Week 9-17 last year. Arizona's offense is surely on the rise, and Drake is a low-end RB1 after an excellent second half last season.
