Keaton Mitchell Unlikely To Have Impact With Derrick Henry Still Around
Keaton Mitchell is little more than a handcuff to lead back Derrick Henry. Henry signed an extension with the Ravens in the 2025 offseason -- The King is now locked in as a Raven through the 2027 season. Perhaps Henry will remain a productive back for the team through Mitchell's entire rookie contract. At that point, who knows what will happen. But other than getting the odd touch here and there and returning a few kickoffs and punts, it's hard to imagine Mitchell getting much volume. Henry and quarterback Lamar Jackson combine for the NFL's most fearsome QB/RB rushing duo. Mitchell is probably stuck with the team in 2025, and a trade doesn't seem likely. Henry's elite level of play necessitates workhorse usage, too, so even in a RB1B role, Mitchell wouldn't have a ton of impact. He's just a handcuff running back in fantasy, and unlikely to have a breakout year.
