Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Tommy Edman (ankle) is missing from the lineup on Wednesday due to a tweaked ankle, reports Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. While the injury doesn't sound serious in nature, it's worth noting that this is the same ankle that landed Edman on the injured list from April 30 to May 18. While the 30-year-old is considered day-to-day for now, there's enough of a concern that Esteury Ruiz is with the team on the taxi squad in case another trip to the injured list is necessary. He was just getting back into the swing of things as of late, with at least one hit in five of his last seven games.--Jeremy Heist
