Justin Edwards Ruled Out For Thursday
Philadelphia 76ers forward Justin Edwards (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Boston Celtics. Edwards sprained his left ankle on Tuesday's practice. According to a team official, Edwards will also miss Saturday's matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. He'll be re-evaluated next week. Edwards has made 25 appearances as a Sixer, averaging 8.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.8 steals in 28.8 minutes as a starter, while shooting 36.4 percent on 4.0 three-point attempts per game. Quentin Grimes and Ricky Council IV will have an opportunity to make a bigger impact in Edwards' absence.
