Junior Caminero Boosts Rays with Six RBI
Junior Caminero went 3-for-6 with a home run and six RBI in Thursday's 13-3 win against the Houston Astros. The righty slugger added a single, a double, and two runs scored. Caminero's homer -- his eleventh of the year -- was a three-run blast, leaving the bat at 103.5 MPH off reliever Bryan King that gave Tampa Bay a five-run lead in the top of the seventh. However, that wasn't his hardest hit ball of the day. That came an inning later when he doubled in Josh Lowe and Brandon Lowe (111.5 MPH). The 21-year-old has registered five multi-hit efforts in his last seven outings with three homers in the stretch -- and two in as many days. He has improved overall in 2025, but with five of his 11 doubles coming over the last six days, it appears he's beginning to heat up.
