Juan Soto Hits 35th Long Ball Of Season Tuesday
4 months agoNew York Yankees outfielder Juan Soto continued his excellent offensive season in Tuesday's 9-5 extra-innings loss to the Guardians. Soto went 1-for-5 with a solo home run, a walk, and a strikeout. The 25-year-old got things started for the Yankees, lining a first-inning Matthew Boyd offspeed pitch just over the right-field wall to score the first run of the game. Soto has been just as good as fantasy managers were expecting, even better in the power department. He now owns a .299/.431/.603 slash line with 35 HR, 104 runs scored, 88 RBI, and five stolen bases in 562 plate appearances.
