1 year agoCleveland Guardians first baseman Josh Naylor is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates and veteran left-hander Rich Hill. Josh Bell will get the start at the cold corner instead and will hit cleanup against Hill. Naylor is having an excellent season and has been hot of late, clearing the fences three times in his last two games. In Tuesday's 10-1 win over Pittsburgh, he went 2-for-5 with two home runs, six RBI and two runs scored. The 26-year-old Canadian left-handed slugger is hitting a career-high .311 (98-for-315) with 15 home runs, 22 doubles, 75 RBI, six stolen bases and 39 runs scored in 84 games. Naylor is a must-start this year, and he's even hitting .271 (23-for-85) against southpaws in 2023.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
