1 year agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Josh Lowe will start on the bench on Thursday against the St. Louis Cardinals and left-hander Matthew Liberatore. The Rays are going with a right-handed heavy lineup against the southpaw in the series finale, so Lowe will get a day off. Lowe has been a fantasy contributor across the board in 2023 in his third major-league season. He's currently slashing a healthy .274/.319/.487 with an .806 OPS, 14 home runs, 22 doubles, two triples, 58 RBI, 22 stolen bases and 45 runs scored in 342 trips to the plate and 94 games. However, he's at the Mendoza Line (.200) with only one homer against lefties on the year.
