Jordan Staal Provides Two Goals in Friday's Win
Carolina Hurricanes center Jordan Staal lit the lamp twice in Friday's 4-3 road win over the Winnipeg Jets. Staal already had his first goal of the night just 16 seconds into the game and also found the back of the net early in the second period. The Hurricanes captain has turned it up a notch offensively lately, scoring four goals across the past four games. Overall, he has managed seven goals and two assists in 21 outings. Staal has always had scoring spurts during his 20-year NHL career, but he usually doesn't contribute enough offensively to warrant fantasy interest.
