Jordan Addison To Play In Preseason Opener
1 year agoDespite an off-the-field incident early in training camp, Minnesota Vikings rookie first-round wide receiver Jordan Addison has impressed with his play on the field. The Vikings will rest many starters during the preseason opener on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks, but head coach Kevin O'Connell said Addison will play. Quarterback Kirk Cousins said Addison is a "natural" at tracking the ball, and O'Connell has been impressed with the rookie's willingness to run block. The 21-year-old is listed behind K.J. Osborn on the first unofficial depth chart, but Addison still figures to lead Osborn in targets in 2023 when all is said and done. In a pass-happy offense, Addison could make some noise in his first NFL season and is worth considering as a WR3/4 in fantasy drafts.
