Jonathan Lucroy Hits First Homer Of Season
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Jonathan Lucroy went 1-for-6 Monday against the Yankees, his lone hit being his first home run of the season. The veteran is off to a solid start to his season, hitting .286 while providing a positive influence on a new pitching staff. Lucroy's power has faded over the past few seasons, and he currently is slugging only .375. But he still is a professional hitter and is currently hitting .300 with runners in scoring position through 20 at-bats. The catching position is perhaps the thinnest in fantasy, so a player like Lucroy can certainly help rosters in certain formats.
