1 year agoGolden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga is feeling very confident ahead of the 2023-24 NBA campaign. "This upcoming season is definitely the year," Kuminga said at the Basketball without Borders camp in South Africa. "A lot of people are expecting so much from me – and myself; I'm expecting a lot. It's a lot of pressure, but I don't really pay attention to the noise. The pressure is always going to be there. It's just [on] me to go out there and perform." Kuminga posted 9.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in 20.8 minutes last season for Golden State. He sounds ready to do a lot more for the team, but first, the 20-year-old has to lock up a spot in the rotation. Kuminga averaged only 6.1 minutes in the 2023 playoffs and the Warriors appeared to have been ready to cut ties with him when various trade rumors surfaced this summer.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
