        San Diego Padres pitcher Joe  Musgrove will reportedly start the third game of the National League Championship Series, per a tweet from The Philadelphia Inquirer's Scott Lauber on Wednesday. Lauber tweeted, "Joe Musgrove will start Game 3 for the Padres, manager Bob Melvin announced." Musgrove posted a 2.93 ERA and a 3.59 FIP in 181 innings during the regular season, striking out 184 batters compared to surrendering just 42 walks. He's made two starts so far this postseason, scattering seven hits, four walks, and a pair of earned runs in 13 innings while striking out 13 batters. The veteran made one start against the Phillies during the regular season, giving up seven hits, six earned runs, two walks, a home run, and a walk in six innings while striking out just one batter.
