4 months agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Joe Musgrove, who had abdominal surgery in October, said he's not 100 percent recovered but is on track to be ready for spring training next month. "My core feels good. I feel strong. ... I threw off the slope today and it felt pretty good," Musgrove said. Musgrove was 6-9 with a 4.06 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 7.8 K/9 in 19 starts for the Pirates last season. He's likely to have a rotation spot and has upside in mixed leagues over a full season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
