Joc Pederson Expected To Play Some First Base
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that outfielder Joc Pederson is ramping up his work at first base and is expected to play there at some point this season, especially with outfielder A.J. Pollock (elbow) coming back from injury sometime next month. Pederson has slowed down somewhat after a really hot start to the year. He's hitting .235/.333/.570 with 19 homers, 43 runs scored and 34 RBI and is a great source of outfield power against right-handed pitchers. Gaining first base eligibility in fantasy would only make him more attractive in a loaded Dodgers lineup.
