Philadelphia Eagles rookie first-round linebacker Jihaad Campbell (shoulder) was not participating in the team's rookie minicamp on Friday while he recovers from offseason shoulder surgery. It's no surprise that Campbell isn't ready to take part in on-field work after he tore his labrum and had surgery in March. The defending Super Bowl champions have no reason to rush Campbell along as he gets ready for his first season in the NFL. However, as long as the 21-year-old doesn't suffer a setback during his recovery, he could be ready to go for the start of training camp at the end of July. The Eagles haven't put a timeline on the 31st overall pick in last week's NFL draft. When the Eagles broke off to position drills on Friday, Campbell went with the off-ball linebackers, which means he may not be viewed as a pure pass-rusher just yet.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
