Jerry Jeudy - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football
Jerry Jeudy (ankle) is expected to return from Injured Reserve and play in Week 8 against the Washington Football after suffering a high ankle sprain in the season opener. The 22-year-old had six catches (seven targets) for 72 yards in just over a half in Week 1 before his injury, and he's shown his short-area burst and sharp route-running abilities in his return to practice. "When he's out there, he just finds a way to get open," quarterback Teddy Bridgewater said. Jeudy ran 19 of his 24 routes out of the slot in Week 1 and caught five of six targets for 59 yards in the slot. His shiftiness makes him an ideal weapon out of the slot, and against a Washington defense that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to receivers this year, Jeudy could make a lot of noise in his first game back. As long as his snaps aren't limited too much, Jeudy will have WR3/flex appeal.
