Jeferson Quero Dealing With Arm Injury
Jeferson Quero (arm) was pulled from Wednesday night's game with Triple-A Nashville after feeling something with his left arm when reaching for a swipe tag, according to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com. It's good news that it's to Quero's non-throwing arm, but we'll have a better idea on a timeline for his return after the team checks him out on Thursday. The 22-year-old is no stranger to injuries after missing most of last year with a right-shoulder injury that required surgery. The Venezuelan backstop and Brewers' No. 5 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, has hit .259/.333/.362 with two home runs, 18 RBI, 15 runs scored and two stolen bases in 30 games for the Sounds in 2025. Another serious injury to his left arm would almost certainly mean that he won't be a candidate to make his MLB debut later this season.
