Jaylen Waddle Expects To Play In Week 1
1 year agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (abdomen) said he's "feeling good" and expects to play in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Waddle suffered an abdomen injury around three weeks ago and was limited in Tuesday's practice, so as long as he doesn't suffer any sort of setback, he should be good to go for all starting fantasy lineups to kick off the regular season in 2023. Even with All-Pro Tyreek Hill soaking up plenty of targets from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, the 24-year-old Waddle will have WR1 upside each and every week. He has exceeded 1,000 yards receiving in each of his two NFL seasons and caught 75 passes (117 targets) for 1,356 yards (league-high 18.1 yards per catch) and eight touchdowns in 17 regular season starts in 2022.
