James Harden Avoids Suspension, Will Be Fined By League
James Harden has been fined $50,000 by the NBA due to a violation of the league's health and safety protocols. The Rockets season opener was postponed Wednesday after positive COVID-19 tests within the organization, which were muddled by additional contact-tracing concerns. There was a thought that Harden may draw a suspension after having been reportedly seen violating of the league's protocols, but he will instead only be levied a fine. His next chance to take the floor comes Saturday versus Portland, although that game is very much up in the air as Houston works through its COVID-19 testing.
