New Jersey Devils goalie Jake Allen earned his second victory of the season on Monday afternoon by posting a 20-save shutout over the Utah Hockey Club. This was the 34-year-old's 25th career shutout, and he now holds a perfect 2-0 record through his first two starts this season. He allowed just one goal on 18 shots against the Buffalo Sabres in his first start. This was an impressive feat on Monday afternoon, as Utah has scored at least five goals in all three of their previous games this season. Allen looks on track to enjoy a nice bounce-back campaign after posting an underwhelming .895 SV% and 3.44 GAA last season. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should consider adding Allen if they lack depth in that position, even though he will serve as the clear No.2 option by Jacob Markstrom this season.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
