Jacob deGrom Shut Down With Forearm Tightness
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (forearm) is getting treatment for forearm tightness and has been shut down from throwing, according to manager Luis Rojas. The good news is that deGrom's MRI exam showed no structural damage. It's unknown when the best pitcher in the game will make his next start now. Fantasy managers can do nothing but sit tight and remain patient. The 33-year-old right-hander is a must-start each and every time he takes the mound, even with all the injury issues he's had in 2021. deGrom has a ridiculously good and league-leading 1.08 ERA, 0.55 WHIP, 1.1 BB/9, 14.3 K/9 and 146 strikeouts in 92 innings over his 15 starts this year. Continue to keep a close eye on his progress.
