The Vegas Golden Knights added forward Ivan Barbashev to the roster via a trade on Sunday, picking the 27-year-old up from the St. Louis Blues for prospect Zach Dean, who was the team's first-round draft pick in 2021. The Golden Knights were desperate to add some offensive talent to the mix after Mark Stone (back) got sidelined, and in Barbashev, they get a versatile forward who can play throughout the lineup. Barbashev featured 59 times for the Blues this season, recording 10 goals and 19 assists. He was a second-round selection for the Blues back in 2014, and Barbashev had 78 goals and 178 points in 410 games overall with the team.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
