Hunter Goodman Keeps on Mashing
Hunter Goodman went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 10-6 win over the Washington Nationals. The Memphis product bashed a three-run bomb in the top of the seventh as part of a huge six-run inning to increase their lead to 9-1. Goodman has been white-hot at the dish over his last 14 games, going 21-for-59 (.356) with five doubles, two triples, seven homers, 15 RBI, and 13 runs scored. With his long ball on Tuesday, the 25-year-old is up to 14 in 2025 -- setting a new career-high to go along with a strong .285/.326/.522 slash line. Goodman leads the Rockies in virtually every statistical category, sans steals, and ranks in the top 12% of the league in both average exit velocity (92.2 MPH) and hard-hit rate (51.5%).
