Colorado Rockies starting pitcher German Marquez was able to earn his first win of the season during Sunday's game against the San Diego Padres. Marquez took an 0-6 record with a 9.90 ERA into Sunday's contest against a tough Padres lineup. Despite that, Marquez was sharp as he tossed seven strong innings, allowing one earned run on three hits, while striking out two batters in the win. It has a positive outing from Marquez who has been awful throughout most of his starts. He'll hope to carry this momentum into his next start against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Fantasy managers can leave Marquez on the waiver wire until he proves he can do it again.--Andy Webb
