1 year agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (groin) returned to training camp practice on Monday, but he was a limited participant. The 49ers appear to be easing the star tight end back at practice, and he probably won't make an appearance in this Friday's preseason finale against the Los Angeles Chargers. The 29-year-old should be ready to go for Week 1 of the regular season, barring any setbacks. The four-time Pro Bowler had 60 receptions for 765 yards in 15 regular season starts last year while also recording a career-high 11 touchdowns. There is some boom/bust to Kittle on a weekly basis given all of the mouths to feed in San Francisco's offense, but he has excellent chemistry with quarterback Brock Purdy and should remain a top-five tight end in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
