George Kittle Dealing With Hamstring Tightness
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that tight end George Kittle (hamstring) has "nothing pulled or strained. Just tightness." The team is being extra cautious with the All-Pro tight end after he exited practice early on Wednesday with a tight hamstring. The 26-year-old should be fine, barring any setbacks. Kittle signed a five-year, $75 million extension with $30 million guaranteed this offseason, which made him the highest-paid tight end annually. He had a whopping 85 catches (107 targets), 1,053 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 14 games in 2019, and he has become a top-two fantasy tight end in the game, right next to Travis Kelce.
