Gavin Lux Injures His Neck On Wednesday
Gavin Lux (neck) suffered a neck injury after colliding with the wall when attempting to catch a fly ball in Wednesday night's game. He was removed from the game and Cody Bellinger came in to replace him. After the game, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that Lux suffered a neck stinger during the collision. The severity of the injury is not known at this point and Lux should be considered day-to-day. The 23-year-old was 0-for-2 in Wednesday's game before the injury. He's slashing .243/.327/.365 with seven home runs, 46 RBI and 49 runs over 101 games on the year.
