Garrett Wilson Suffers Hip Injury In Loss To Denver
Garrett Wilson (hip) sustained an injury on Sunday in London during an ugly 13-11 loss to the Denver Broncos in which the Jets fell to 0-6 on the season. Jets coach Aaron Glenn confirmed the hip injury after the game, according to Antwan Staley of the New York Daily News. The former Ohio State Buckeye entered the game fourth among all wide receivers in targets and seventh in yards, but managed just three catches for 13 yards against Denver as New York threw for only 45 yards and gave up nine sacks. Wilson didn't miss extended time because of the injury on Sunday, but his status will be worth observing when the Jets return to practice prior to playing Carolina in Week 7.
