It's been a precipitous decline for Francesco Molinari over the last 18 months. The 2018 Open champion was ranked as high as sixth in the world in 2019, but has tumbled all the way to 130th in the current OWGR. The Italian suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Tiger Woods in the 2019 Masters and has struggled ever since. Molinari issues can be attributed to some questionable swing changes, as well as a continental family move in the middle of the COVID-19 epidemic last year. He's set to return to action at this week's American Express. He missed the cut in this event last year. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
