Fernando Tatis Jr. Hits Another Homer In Minors
2 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder/shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a strikeout in Sunday's game with Triple-A El Paso. Tatis is biding his time in the minors as he completes his suspension, and the 24-year-old looks to be in midseason form while hitting an absurd .515 with seven home runs, 15 RBI and two stolen bases in eight games for El Paso. Tatis has cleared the fences six times in the last three games, and he'll be eligible to make his 2023 debut for the Padres on April 20. Even though he missed all of 2022 due to injury and suspension, the young phenom should have been selected and stashed in all single-year fantasy formats. With Xander Bogaerts at shortstop for the Friars, Tatis is expected to see most of his time in San Diego in right field in 2023.
