Evan Neal Struggles While Repping with First-Team Offense
New York Giants offensive lineman Evan Neal had "a few clear whiffs" while working with the first-team offense at right guard, according to Dan Duggan of The Athletic. Neal got the chance to step in with the first team due to projected starter Greg Van Roten (personal) missing practice. The number seven overall selection in the 2022 draft, Neal has struggled for the past three seasons while playing tackle. The team announced it was moving him inside to guard coming into the 2025 season, where he projects as a depth piece behind Van Roten and starting left guard Jon Runyan. The Giants' offensive line has been a consistent weakness for the team in recent seasons, so they'll need improved play from the group to get the best out of new quarterback
