Elvis Andrus Will Wait To Make Decision On Opt-Out Clause
Elvis Andrus seems to be leaning toward not opting out of his contract, but he will wait until after the season to make his final decision. Andrus had a career year in 2017 but has fallen back to Earth big time in 2018. He managed to smash 20 homers last year with a .297/.337/.471 slash line, but he has only six long balls and is batting .266/.317/.388 this year. Andrus has also played in far fewer games due to injury in 2018, but it looks like he'll be back for another season in 2019.
