Eloy Jimenez Could Be Out 4-5 Days
1 year agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (groin) will be further evaluated after injuring his groin on Sunday against the Atlanta Braves, and manager Pedro Grifol said that he could be out four to five days. The White Sox have an off day on Monday before beginning a series against the New York Mets on Tuesday, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect Jimenez to be back in there by then. The oft-injured 26-year-old could still land on the injured list, so fantasy managers need to prepare for that possibility. Jimenez went 0-for-1 on Sunday before leaving early, and he's now hitting .269/.313/.463 on the season with 12 home runs, 11 doubles, 40 RBI and 29 runs scored in 259 plate appearances and 62 games played.
