Eduardo Rodriguez To Start Thursday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez is feeling better and is scheduled to make his start on Thursday against the Toronto Blue Jays after he was removed from the second inning last Friday due to migraine symptoms. Rodriguez's surface stats of a 5.23 ERA and 1.34 WHIP don't really tell the whole story of his 2021 season, as he's also sporting an encouraging 3.51 FIP and career-high strikeout (27.4 percent) and walk rates (5.8 percent) in 96 1/3 innings over his 19 starts for Boston. E-Rod will be a pretty risky streaming option against a strong Blue Jays lineup this week, but he's not a bad trade target to close out the second half of the season in redraft leagues.
