According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, free agent guard Edmond Sumner is receiving interest from the Bucks, Hornets, Raptors, Heat, and Suns. The 27-year-old was a backup point guard for the Nets last season and averaged 7.1 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game while appearing in 53 games. Most of the teams interested are in desperate need of a backup point guard. The Bucks, Hornets, Raptors, and Heat all are in need of someone right behind their starting guards.
