Eagles Expected To Trade For Deshaun Watson?
3 years agoAccording to Philadelphia Eagles insider Howard Eskin, the Houston Texans are coming to grips with the fact that they are likely going to trade quarterback Deshaun Watson, regardless of if he's suspended by the league for his sexual-assault charges. According to sources around the league, only the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins and Eagles have a strong desire to trade for Watson amid his legal troubles. The Eagles have three first-round picks at their disposal, and Eskin is predicting that there is a 90 percent chance that Watson is dealt to the Eagles. It's a lot of speculation and guessing, and we might not even have much closure on this situation until 2022 if Watson is suspended for most, or all, of the 2021 season and traded after that. Jalen Hurts would obviously be a big loser if this scenario came to pass, and he'd likely be involved in the trade. Until we have a better picture of Watson's situation this year and beyond, he's a QB to avoid in fantasy.
