The move reflects consistent, low-usage production rather than a clear path to immediate minutes. Over his last ten games, Cardwell has provided late-round value with 5.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 2.0 blocks while remaining efficient in limited run. With Domantas Sabonis locked into the starting role and Maxime Raynaud also in the rotation, Cardwell profiles as a deep-league blocks streamer.
