Pittsburgh Penguins left wing Drew O'Connor has inked a two-year deal, avoiding an arbitration process. The 25-year-old will be paid $1.85 million, giving him a $925,000 cap hit for the next couple of seasons. O'Connor played a career-high 46 games with the Penguins in 2022-23, posting five goals and six assists with 63 hits as a fourth-liner. For his entire career, O'Connor has totaled eight goals and 17 points in 78 NHL appearances. The New Jersey native has yet to make noise in the big league, but he's been a point-per-game player in the AHL and was also one of the leaders for Team USA at the 2023 World Championships with eight points in 10 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
