Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach and recent Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter announced on Friday that he is retiring from coaching in the NFL. Koetter joined the NFL ranks after years at the college level, joining the Jaguars in 2007 as their offensive coordinator until 2011. He then moved to Atlanta as the offensive coordinator from 2012-14. Koetter was the offensive coordinator in Tampa in 2015 before becoming the head coach for three seasons, where he had a 19-29 record with no playoff appearances. He has called plays for the Falcons the last two seasons, but the 61-year-old has decided to step away for good after initially considering retirement when the Buccaneers fired him as head coach.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
