It took a shootout winner from Dillon Dube for the Calgary Flames to top the Minnesota Wild by a score of 5-4 on Sunday. The Flames received goals from three defensemen: Mark Giordano, Travis Hamonic, and Michael Stone. Mikael Backlund and Johnny Gaudreau each had two helpers. The latter player is slowly pulling out of a season-long slump and now has five points in the last three games. He’s on pace for a 70-point season after just missing the 100-point plateau last season at 99. Depth winger Marcus Foligno had two goals for Minnesota. He now has four points in the last two games. Veteran defenseman Ryan Suter had two assists. He now has 11 points in the last 10 games.
