Buffalo Sabres goaltender Devon Levi is set to take over the crease in 2023-24 and is determined to keep improving. "I don't think you could ever be your best," Levi told Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News. "There's always more, you can keep pushing that level. It's like building up your character in a video game. Just keep leveling up." Following a phenomenal college career with Northeastern University, Levi kicked down the NHL door with a bang last season, going 5-2-0 in his first seven career appearances. He finished with a 2.94 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage. There will likely be a few bumps on the road for the 21-year-old, but Levi is very highly regarded, and it's going to be interesting to see how well he does in his first full season, particularly with expectations rising in Buffalo and the Sabres seeking to end a league-worst 12-year playoff drought.--Taavi Pailk
