DeSean Jackson A Leading Candidate To Return Punts
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles special teams coordinator Dave Fipp said that wide receiver DeSean Jackson is a top candidate to return punts in 2019. Jackson is returning to the team that he spent the first six seasons of his career. The 32-year-old is still very quick and elusive as a deep threat -- he averaged 18.9 yards per catch in 2018 -- but he'll need to stay healthy to remain a weapon in standard-scoring leagues for fantasy owners. D-Jax played in only 12 games in his final season with Tampa in 2018 and hasn't played a full season since 2013, his final season in Philly in his first go-around. He also hasn't scored over four touchdowns since 2014. Jackson is in a good spot to bounce back in fantasy, but he's still a very volatile commodity.
