Deneric Prince On The Rise Early In Camp
1 year agoKansas City Chiefs rookie running back Deneric Prince has captivated the team's coaching staff and personnel department early in training camp. He has generated similar buzz that Isiah Pacheco did in 2022 as an undrafted rookie who has made highlights while showcasing a rugged running style. "I feel he's got that chip on his shoulder," cornerback Trent McDuffie said. Prince is the lone undrafted rookie worthy of a roster spot right now, and he could forced the Chiefs to carry four RBs on their 53-man roster. "I'm excited about him," center Creed Humphrey said of Prince. "He's looking really good so far — big, physical, fast. He's got some talent." Prince isn't worthy of being drafted in single-year leagues, but he's one to keep an eye on this summer.
